Drive-Thru Flu Shot Clinics

Adults will be able to get their immunization without leaving their car at this year's FHN Flu Shot Clinics. Due to precautions helping to stop the spread of the COVID-19 novel coronavirus, only drive-through flu shot clinics will be offered this year.

Previously relocated to FHN's Freeport Family Healthcare Centers during the initial stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, Outpatient Lab services will again be available at FHN Memorial Hospital beginning Monday, July 6.

Mobile Rx Pantry Program

FHN and the Northern Illinois Food Pantry are helping get a healthy “dose” of good food to those who need it. This free program will distribute healthy produce, milk, eggs, and frozen and canned meats to qualified participants on a regular basis.

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) guidelines, FHN is postponing or cancelling all larger nonessential events until further notice.

Hands-on learning program to teach high-quality CPR, first aid, and proper Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use specific to infants and children. The course is $60, which includes student workbook and CPR certification card that is valid for 2 years. No appointment required for this free testing event. Everyone must wear a mask and bring a valid photo ID; individuals under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Those who drive to the event must stay in their car for the testing. Results will be communicated within 4-7 days by the Illinois Department of Public Health. This test will only determine if you currently have COVID-19. Sponsored by the Stephenson County Health Department, Stephenson County Emergency Management Agency, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Highland Community College.

Participants can pick up their supply of produce, milk, eggs, and frozen and canned meats from the Mobile Rx Pantry program, a partnership between FHN's Connect the D.O.T.S. (Doors of Team Support) and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. No screenings will be held, and social distancing will be practiced.
