This non-fasting screening uses a finger stick sample to measure the total cholesterol in blood. Excess cholesterol has been correlated with cardiovascular disease.

This screening determines glucose levels (an indicator of diabetes) in the blood. For accurate test results, do not eat or drink anything other than water for 8 hours prior to testing.
