Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC)

Are you enthusiastic about supporting and improving care at FHN? Are you able to maintain an open and caring mind, sharing both positive and negative experiences in a constructive way? Consider joining our Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) and help FHN improve on our commitment to provide a safe, compassionate, and innovative healthcare for our community.

PFAC is a team of 10 diverse community members that work in partnership with FHN leaders to provide feedback on how FHN patients understand and navigate healthcare in the modern age. In learning from the patient and/or family perspective, we will continue in our focus to improve the patient experience, increase safety, and enhance the quality of care throughout the organization.

PFAC members must be age 18 or older. Those selected to become PFAC members will be asked to commit to a minimum 1-year membership agreement. After completing a mandatory orientation, monthly meetings are to be held at FHN hospital. There is an online attendance option; however, two meetings per year must be attended in person.
