This course is designed for anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency. This course teaches the critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive.
Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrests in adults, children and infants based on the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. This is a hands-on learning program to maximize learning for participants.
This full-day course is $60.00, which includes the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED (Automated External Defibrillator) student workbook and certification card valid for 2 years.

All courses will be held 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at FHN Memorial Hospital, 1045 W. Stephenson Street, Freeport, IL, lower level in the Globe Room.
