Participants who have been screened and qualified for a voucher can pick up their supply of produce, milk, eggs, and frozen and canned meats from the Rx Mobile Pantry program, a partnership between FHN’s Connect the D.O.T.S. (Doors of Team Support) and the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Mandatory screenings are held at the pickup site from 10 a.m. – noon before each event. The in-person event will begin at 8 a.m. at Oakdale Nature Preserve, 4433 S Cranes Grove Road in Freeport. For virtual participation, ride our routes anytime between June 18 – 26 and dedicate your ride to those who are battling or have battled cancer.

This FREE 30- to 45-minute Walk is a safe, fun, family- and pet-friendly way to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new friends.

FHN is proud to be a part of the nationwide program Walk with a Doc, which gives people a chance to take a walk and learn about their health from a local healthcare professional. Each walk is led by an FHN team member who will speak briefly before the walk begins.

Socially distanced, rolling start 5K run begins at 8 a.m. The Victory Lap will be held immediately following the 5K start. Proceeds from the race will benefit heart patients in northwest Illinois through the FHN Cardiology Department. Advance online registration is $25/adults and $10/ages 17 and under Race Day Registration is $35/adults. A virtual 5K option also is available between Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 16.
