Hands-on learning program to teach members how to perform high-quality CPR, first aid, and proper Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use in adults, children, and infants. The course is $60, which includes student workbook and CPR certification card that is valid for 2 years. Registration is required. This pre-diabetes class, a joint program of the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, helps individuals at risk for Type 2 diabetes take the first step toward preventing diabetes and living a healthier, longer life.

Non-fasting glucose screenings will be available to attendees from 5:00-5:30 p.m.

The League of Women Voters of Freeport and the Freeport branch of the NAACP are hosting a presentation from FHN outlining local healthcare needs as identified in the FHN Community Health Needs Assessment in December 2022.

FHN Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Nursing Officer Kathryn J. Martinez, DHA, MSN, RN, FACHE will review the results of the FHN Community Health Needs Assessment and FHN’s planned activities to address those needs. There will be plenty of time for questions, which will be answered by Martinez as well as FHN Family Nurse Practitioner Tamisha Bonvillain, FNP-BC, IBCLC.
