Urology is a medical and surgical specialty focusing on treatment and management of kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate enlargement, urinary stress incontinence, infertility, neurogenic bladder and cancer of the prostate, kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, testes, and urethra. Urology often overlaps into the fields of pediatrics, internal medicine, gynecology, nephrology, and endocrinology.

FHN offers lithotripsy, a procedure in which kidney stones are broken into fine particles using ultrasound so that they can be passed in the urine.
