Otolaryngology is the medical and surgical management and treatment of patients with diseases or disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck.
You may be referred to an otolaryngologist for issues like frequent ear infections or sore throats, balance disorders, hearing loss, smell disorders, polyps, voice and swallowing disorders, or facial deformities or trauma.
