FHN » Mobile Rx Pantry Program
Good health is more than taking the pills your provider prescribes. In fact, if he or she could, the very first prescription your provider would write for you would be for a nutritious diet!
As part of the community’s Connect the D.O.T.S. (Doors of Team Support) initiative to promote well-being for everyone in the community, FHN and the Northern Illinois Food Bank are partnering to get a healthy dose of good, nutritious food to those who need it.
The free Mobile Rx Pantry Program will distribute healthy produce, milk, eggs, and frozen and canned meats to participants on a regular basis.
You'll need to be screened before each pick-up event to see if you qualify for the program. If you qualify, you'll be given a voucher for the program. There are 2 ways to qualify for a voucher:
You can find a full listing of blood pressure screening dates, times, and locations on our online calendar.
Once you've gotten your voucher, you'll be able to present it at the next pick-up event. Pick-up time is always from noon to 2 p.m.
