Walk to Remember, 1 p.m.
FHN Memorial Hospital, 1045 West Stephenson Street, Freeport (meet near the Harlem Ave. intersection)

A special, outdoor ceremony for parents and families who have lost a baby (through miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn loss) to share their grief and remember their loved one. All families are welcome – whether you are a patient of FHN or not.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Freeport Police Department, 320 W. Exchange Street, Freeport

FHN and Freeport Police Department are working with the State of Illinois and local and national law enforcement to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs and educate the public about the potential for abuse of medications. Bring unused prescription drugs (no liquids or needles/sharps, only pills or patches) for drive-through service.
