The new Center for Wound Healing at FHN Specialty Care – Stephenson Street offers innovative, complete care for chronic wounds.

Our multidisciplinary specialists evaluate each patient to create a personalized care plan focused on complete, rapid healing. The team uses proven wound care practices and advanced clinical approaches, including wound care products, dressings, antibiotics and hyperbaric oxygen therapy to help heal patients who suffer from chronic wounds.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO therapy) delivers pressurized, super-oxygenated air to the patient while he or she lies in a special chamber. This painless, non-invasive therapy puts more oxygen in the bloodstream, which allows the body to fight off infection and heal the wound.
