FHN Parent Enrichment Program Offering Infant Massage Classes

4/5/2012, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Nobody has to tell you to cuddle your baby, but did you know that some massage techniques can relieve your baby's discomfort from teething or gas and even improve baby's sleep?

Infant massage (for babies age 12 months and younger) is a pleasant and effective way for parents to help relax and soothe their baby while enhancing the parent-infant bond. Infant massage can also help improve parental confidence and encourage relaxation and stress reduction – for both baby and parents!

The class has four sessions, all taught by FHN Parent Enrichment Program certified infant massage instructors. The cost of $120 includes all four sessions, participant resources and handouts, supplies and daycare for older siblings, if needed. Classes meet Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Park Hills Evangelical Free Church, 2525 W. Stephenson Street, Freeport.

The first cycle of classes begins April 5, with sessions following on April 12, 19 and 26. The next cycle will meet July 12, 19, 26 and August 2. A fall cycle will meet October 4, 11, 18 and 25.
