The popular FHN’s Pretzel City Festival will kick off with a FREE movie in the park Friday, June 25 at the Koenig Band Shell inside Freeport’s Krape Park.
This year’s selection, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, looks at what happens when food falls from the sky like rain. The movie, an adaptation of the popular children’s book of the same name, is rated PG for brief mild language.
The movie begins at dusk on a giant 30-foot blowup screen, but the fun will begin at 6 p.m. with activities ranging from barrel train rides to a Guitar Hero jam session to pony rides. Local food vendors also will be onsite with popular festival food.
"This is the fifth year we have presented a free movie in the park," said Michael Perry, MD, FHN president and CEO. "It gives families a chance to come out and enjoy being together, which is an important part of our overall health and happiness."
