Heart Health
Jeanette Dorsey RN, BSN

During Heart Month, make sure that the beat goes on!

Your heart is the muscle that gives rhythm to your life - it beats almost 120,000 times every day! As the drumbeat for your body, it's important to understand risk factors that may affect its effectiveness and how we can minimize them.

Jeanette Dorsey RN, BSN and Operations Leader at FHN's Cardiopulmonary Services can help! She’ll be your presenter for a free presentation on what causes heart problems and how to help prevent them. In addition to providing clinical information on heart health, she will have a special focus on how to prepare and choose healthy foods, and heart-healthy cookbooks will be given to attendees. We'll also provide tips specifically for women, who sometimes experience heart conditions differently from men.
